Designers on Film: Die Hard

A conversation with Jason Tselentis about design, film and a Christmas classic. Yes, it’s a Christmas movie!

I was invited to join designer and educator Jason Tselentis on the Designers on Film podcast to talk about one of my favourite movies – Die Hard.

The podcast brings designers together to explore the films that have stayed with them, and the creativity, craft and ideas behind them. Our conversation wandered through film, design and popular culture – from Frank Lloyd Wright and The Crow to Batman & Robin, Se7en and, naturally, Hans Gruber.

The conversation also began after midnight on a Monday, which probably didn’t help my accent or mental capacity – but I’m very happy with how the episode turned out, and genuinely honoured to have my name beside such an epic film.
